images-1Did you know if you tap the sides of a soda, even if it was shaking prior to opening it won’t explode? A soda consists of air and liquid, when a can is opened all the air will rush out of the can. When a soda is shaken, air pockets are created in the liquid around the edges of the can. When one taps the sides these air pockets break off the edge and return to above the liquid.

This is only a theory there are people out there that do not believe this work, a lot o the “disproofs” I have seen have them tap the top of the can not the sides.  I have done studies , you know.  60% of the time it works, every time.(Anchor Man Reference)

Oh if you decide to test this out let us know in the comments!  I’m sure we will have a lot of disbelievers out there.

imagesSurfTheChannel is not your ordinary streaming video site, unlike most these people don’t host any video themselves. Instead they just find links to stream pretty much every TV Show possible and store them in a clean organized way. What I find even cooler about the service is they display the 10 most popular links of the day, making it easy to find a new show to watch. So whether you missed the latest episode of Lost, don’t have Showtime to watch Dexter, or just are plain out bored looking for something to watch head over to SurfTheChannel.com

So, you want to use your Wii to listen to MP3’s, watch your favorite videos, and much more on your Wii? But your much too lazy to actually use your Ninja skills to install any hacks. Well, we’ve got some help!

You’ll need:

  • Computer
  • Wii
  • Windows Vista or XP (I know, no Mac version *sigh*)
  • Internet for Wii & Computer
  • Internet Channel for Wii

How To

  1. Go to: Orb and then download the version of “Orb” you’ll need. Also create an account on Orbs’ website.
  2. Go to Orbs’ configuration and in the “Media” tab, you can drag and drop all the folders of stuff you want, full of stuff you’ll be sharing on your Wii.
  3. After doing this go to your myOrb account at: Orb Account When you log in, you’ll be able to see the media you placed in the Orb application Media section! And yes, you can even use this account and ability to share media with friends and family (and fellow Ninjas!!)
  4. Now hopefully you have the Opera Wii Internet Brower. If not, go download it in the Wii Shop Channel.
  5. After, use the browser to navigate to the same “MyCast Orb” account and you’ll again see the Orb homepage.
  6. Before media streaming, go to the settings, and then “stream” section in the web page and set it to “Flash”.
  7. Now, “Save & Exit.”
  8. Now, enjoy your super awesome collection of videos, MP3’s and more awesome media!!

Who Is it?!Ever wonder who owned a Gmail address, or scare some kid you only talk to through email/Gtalk and don’t know his real name?  Well currently there is a exploit using Google Calendars to reveal the identity of anyone!  If this does not work it is probably patched, I don’t expect this to last too long.

  1. Log into Gmail
  2. Click on Calendars in the upper left
  3. Click on Settings in the upper right and navigate to the “Calendar” tab
  4. Click on a calendar and navigate to the “Share this Calendar” tab
  5. Enter their Gmail address under Share with Specific people
  6. Click Add person and Save
  7. It *may* ask if you want to invite the person to google calendars click “Don’t Invite”
  8. Now back under the sharing tab it should have their first and last name next to their email!

The Ninja LawnIts July and it is hot! You might not be suffering so bad in your air conditioned homes, but the real pain is a dying lawn! Lawn maintenance is one of a ninjas prime focuses during the summer months. You might think its the heat, and the only way to fix your lawn is with some watering, but you might actually be hurting it more than you think!

Lawn Tips

  • Cut your grass higher than normal! Taller grass keeps the roots cool and helps to keep the moisture in the soil longer. (No lower than 3”!)
  • Deeply soak your lawn when watering. A quick sprinkle is most often more harmful to your lawn! Just be sure you don’t deep soak your lawn too often or you could end up with drowned roots, fungi, and other problems!
  • Pour a cheap can of beer on dog-browned spots. This works because beer has fermented sugar, which will restore life to the grass.
  • Be sure to fertilize your lawn at least twice a year! This will keep it looking good! This is most often done during September and April / May.
  • Remove excess lawn clippings after mowing your lawn. These can end up killing whatever living grass you have!

Have any other great lawn tips that you think are ninja worthy? Hit them up in the comments!
