images-51For one reason or another AT&T really does not want iPhones to have MMS on their network until the end of summer.  They have been trying pretty darn hard to stop this, even disabling it on some of the people who enabled it!  However if we can change the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) in AT&T’s database it should not get disabled, as AT&T will not know you have an iPhone.

This task will involve Social Engineering; to edit their database, while this is not illegal AT&T may complain to you.

untitledEver buy an app and realize it was complete garbage? Well for better or worse after you complete this guide you won’t have to pay for an app again.  However if you do like the application you should pay for it, as you will be notified when updates are available and that developer spent a lot of time creating the app.

You will need:

Steps

  1. Open Cydia, this is an application that is installed when you jail break your device.
  2. Go to the Manage tab, the “tabs” are located at the bottom.
  3. Select the Sources option
  4. Select the Edit button, this is located in the top right.
  5. Select the Add button, this is located in the top left.
  6. Input cydia.hackulo.us in the text box it should read http://cydia.hackulo.us/ and press Add Source
  7. You may get a warning, select “Add Anyway
  8. As it will update every source not just the one we added, you may get errors in which you can ignore.
  9. Once it is all done go back to the main cydia menu and press the search tab
  10. Search for “AppSync”  and install “AppSync for OS 3.0″.
  11. Restart your iPhone.
  12. You can now drag and drop .IPA files into your iTunes application section, sync your phone and run them!

Note: A great place to find pirated apps is: http://appulo.us/appdb/

Besides McGyver I’m sure we all have spent copious amounts of time looking for those small objects that we somehow managed to drop.  Why not McGyver? Because he probably would have used a flashlight and made the object cast a large shadow.

A shadow is created basically by an object blocking light right? Well by laying the flashlight on its side and pointing it in the general direction of  the fallen object, it should block light and make a noticeable shadow!

images-4Ever want to talk to that girl in your eye site but can’t just formulate a plan to initiate conversation?  Well the simplest things are by far the best things and this pick up line is one of the simplistic! Are you ready for it? Remember with great power comes great responsibility, so use this sparingly.  The last thing we want is a bunch of paranoid girls thinking their breath smells bad :-P

The line is as simple is asking the girl if she wants any gum, if you want to seem less like a creep and have mintier breath be sure to ask her this as your taking in a piece of gum yourself.  Oh and be sure you have gum on you, I’d imagine this would be a major fail if she says yes she does want gum and you can’t provide!

6a00d8341bf6d653ef01127919208028a4-piWe all know you ladies out  there have dozens of Hairbands but they are lost more easily than a single sock.  Well the people over at parenthack had a pretty cool solution, just throw them all on a carabiner.   Those are those giant metal clips that people use for mountain climbing, and fairly recently they became like the fashionable way to clip things on a belt loop such as your car keys.

Back to missing socks, I strongly believe the Underpants Gnomes realized for every single underpants someone owns, they should own 2 socks(socks come in pairs).  Which means socks greatly outnumber underpants, so they yield greater profit.  Their new plan looks something like this:

  • Phase 1:  Collect Socks
  • Phase 2: ?
  • Phase 3: Profit!

Anyways if you can think of other uses for these carabiner, let us know in the comments!
