Quick Fix: Protect Your Hands From Rockband Drums
Posted by: java in Other, tags: Drums, Quick Fix, Rockband
For those of you who have played Rockband, specifically the drums, you will find out after a few hours of play your fingers will start to blister. If your as crazy as I am, you might not not care about the pain, and just continue to play. However, for those of you who want to keep your hands soft- here’s the fix!
Protecting Your Hands (from Rockband Drums)
- Take blue painters tape and wrap your thumb and the base of your index finger with it. This will prevent direct contact, and allow you the flexibility you need to play drums, without the blisters!
- If other fingers or parts of you hand are equivalently taking a beating, wrap them in tape as well.
- If your not a fan of the painters tape idea, and want to just play it- somewhat “overall” safe- wear a pair of drummer gloves (or you could play it cheap with cotton gloves). Heck, they might even look a little cool on you (or your friends start to call you Michael Jackson).
Maybe there are other solutions to this problem (aside from quitting playing the drums altogether), but if you have another solution, share it with us in the comments!

probably not everyone has painter’s tape, but a common household item is Band-aids!
Or just play DDR instead.
a friend recommended 3M MICROFOAM TAPE and it work very well!!!! you might be able to find it at medical supply store.
