DrillWho here owns one of those DeWalt 24 volt monster power drills? As everyone knows, when the time comes that you need to drill a hole, the battery ends up being dead. The problem that causes this is: most (if not all) drills and other portable tools don’t have On/Off switches. Leaving a battery in the drill when you dont need to use it will allow the power to dissipate quicker.

The Fix? Oh, simple! Why don’t you- take the battery out when your not using it! Just set it aside. Also keep in mind, if your not going to be using your drill for months at a time, the battery is obviously not going to hold for months either.

Do you have any charging methods to get the most out of a rechargable battery? Share them in the comments!
