Glow sticks. You can buy a pack of these at CVS or any type of general store. Around this time of year, especially today, Glowsticks are rather popular. You see kids waving them around during the fireworks pre-show, you see people wearing them on their neck, and some people just like to perform scientific experiments with them.

Some glowsticks don’t light up as bright as others… the solution? Lets make them SUPER bright!

Just take dimming glow sticks and place them in the microwave for 10 seconds…
Microwaves excite the hydrogen peroxide in the glow sticks and make the glow sticks react faster (brighter). They will still last for hours though when they start to die, they die for good.

Remember, be careful! Always be cautious when performing tasks like this!
