Going on a long car ride to see relatives this Fourth of July? Don’t have anything to do in the car because your batteries died for your PSP? Well, here are some fun [or not so funny] things to do that will keep your mind off the ride and on something else!

1. Use dry erase markers to draw on the windows. (Have a Kleenex handy!)
2. Count American Flags. Make it a contest and see who finds the most!
3. Try to get truckers to honk!
4. Draw
5. Listen to the radio.
6. See how much you can annoy the driver.
7. Re-lace your shoes. (This doesn’t sound so fun but it takes up lots of time!)
8. Sitting during a long car ride is a good time to pick up trash in the floor board! Keep some trash bags around!
9. Time how long it takes to get from one telephone pole to another.
10. Organize your glove box or center console.
11. Talk about old movies you remember seeing a long time ago!
12. Play Sudoku or any other hand held games! (Tick tack toe, checkers, etc.)
13. Get a good debate going
14. Enjoy the silence and go to sleep.
15. Give disposable cameras to people and have a picture contest. The most interesting picture wins!
