Are you having people over for Christmas and are ashamed of how your microwave looks? Well before you start scrubbing it down for an hour trying to get it clean, try this! Not only will it help clean your microwave but will give it a nice scent aswell!

1. Fill a cup/bowl with 1¼ cups of water.
2. Cut a lemon in half
3. Squeeze the lemon juice into the con
4. Place the cup/bowl into the microwave and turn it on high for 7-10 minutes
5. Carefully remove the cup/bowl and wipe down the microwave with a soft dish cloth
6. If you wish you can use any leftover lemon juice to wipedown the fridge or counters

Why does this work? Well the steam from the water will remove or atleast loosen up all the leftover food in your microwave, while the lemon gives it a nice smell. It could work without the lemon but may smell awful.
