Google has recently added a new feature to the maps which shows the terrain(very cool). However you may notice that button took the place of the “hybrid view” button. The hybrid view is now the default look of the “satellite view”. If you wish to look at a satellite view with no street information just select the satellite view and hover your mouse over the button and uncheck the “show labels” check box that should appear.
