Running out of practical jokes to pull on your friends or roommates??? If so i’ve got one that is simple and funny.

Materials you will need:

1. 2 mentos mints (regular flavor)
2. 2 liter bottle of diet coke (almost any soda will work but diet is less sticky)
3. White thread
4. Needle

Procedure:

1. Thread the needle Then push the needle through the two mentos. make sure the mentos don’t fall off the thread.
2. Open up the bottle of diet coke and carefully stick the mentos in. Make sure to not let the mentos touch the coke.
3. Put the thread over one side with the mentos still in the bottle and close the bottle with the cap. if you followed the steps correctly then the mentos should be hovering over the soda and some string should be coming out from under the cap. Make sure to keep the bottle upright so the soda does not touch the mentos.
4. Cut the excess string off and the needle off to make in as unnoticeable as possible.
5. Place in fridge. Wait until the right moment to ask your friend or roommate to get you some coke.

What will happen:

When they open the bottle the string is no longer being held and the mentos falls into the soda causing a fountain of carbonated beverage to come spewing out.
