Google strives to provide the best services for everything. From what I see, they broke the barrier between the internet and the world around us. Today, the internet giant is on the streets providing its web surfers with the real “Street View” of your favorite hot spots like New York City, Miami, and San Francisco. Assumed that this is only the beginning, Google may be driving by your house soon to get some more pictures of sub-urban areas.
If you are unsure about how to use this service, heres a quick informal:
- Take a trip to www.maps.google.com
- Switch the view of the map to “Satellite” or “Hybrid”; you choose. (Shown in top-right of map)
- Enter your desired location in the search bar and press Search. (Ex. Financial District, New York, NY)
- Click the “Street View” button. (Shown in top-right of map)
- Drag the little yellow guy onto one of the blue outlined streets and a Street View will appear.
- Navigate the street view by re-dragging and dropping the yellow guy onto a different blue outlined street or click the North, South, East, West buttons in the street view.
Happy Street Viewing!

One of the coolest things from google yet…
Used it for a trip to San Fransisco… so much easier looking for a building instead of an address sign.
awsome. I could see my tiny house from space!
