Have you ever wanted to sing to songs you listen to on your iPod? Do you not know the words in your favorite song?
A simple six step process can unveil the unnoticed feature your iPod has supported since its creation.
With this a small amount of time, you can put the lyrics to your favorite songs on your iPod.
- Open up iTunes
- View your Music Library
- Right click the song of your choice and select “Get Info”
- Navigate to the “Lyrics” tab
- Go on google.com and search “song name lyrics” (Replacing song name with the name of the song).
- Go to one of the links for the lyrics and copy all of the text (lyrics).
- (Ctrl + V) or Right click > Paste the lyrics into the lyrics box
- Press “Ok”
Your all set to go! Now when you listen to the song on your iPod, simply press the “Ok” (Center) button till the lyrics appear!

Hey this really helps!I dont know y isnt working but ill try if whats the problem
Dont no why it isnt working. I went into info and and copy and paste the lyrics in the lyrics tab. When i try to play the song, the IPod only gives me the artwork and the basic aritist, album, song info.
I’m a retard…. i didn’t read the last sentence of the direction. The part where you have to push the center button. I was expecting it to just automatically pops up and auto scroll down as the song progress like karaoke . Sorry for double posting…. there isn’t an edit option.

iTunes won’t let me edit the lyrics on some songs bought. I think this has something to do with DRM. Even ‘unlocked’ iTunes Plus songs won’t let me edit them…
