Today, were going to temporarily shift the tutorial focus from text to pictures. After a while, writing can get boring and things seem to sound redundant. In a rather awkward acronym, its like telling a blind person to read a 6 page essay; you just cant do it! Pictures seem nice, and they are really easy to learn from (if you get the message and use a bit of your mind).
The TI30Xa is a popular calculator all over… and you can pick one up at a Walmart or any kind of CVS ($10+/-). Aside from math problems, the least bit you can do with your calculator is replace its batteries when needed. To get straight to the point, lets start this TN pic-torial!
I am no where near the experience level of a photographer. These pictures are intended for informal use and are not to be put on display.
Finally, once you put the new batteries in, all your have to do is put the back case on and put the screws back in.

Nice pictorial description of the battery replacement for the TI-30Xa calculator! Without opening to find out, could you please tell me the exact type of battery to purchase as a future replacement item?
Thanks
the battery type is GPA76-requires two-you know the little flat batteries
I just did all of the above and the calculator would not turn on after changing the batteries.
Then, I noticed a little note on the circuit board that said “PLEASE SHORT THE RESET PAD AFTER CHANGING THE BATTERIES”. I found a little circular area on the board that said “RESET” and I shorted two of the fork-like legs to each other with the tip of a screwdriver, then the calculator worked. I took some photos, not quite sure how to submit them to this site. Thx.
