This may not be the deal of the century, but heck; its another one of those things you just cant help but to share with everybody. If you use the Gtalk (Google Talk) client (the program), you know that with it you can make calls to buddies. How about calling people on their telephone with Google Talk? You’ve all heard of Skype and those other pieces of software; so heres another… but through Google Talk.

A company known as Splinter.net now is offering services as a gateway between your Gtalk and Telephones.

This is how it works:

1. Add the user ’service@splinter.net’ to your buddy list.
2. Send them a message to call. Example: “call 12127773456″
3. They call you on Gtalk, and then they connect your call!

Easy to use, however it isn’t free. But its another good alternative to know!
