This may be one ‘cheesy’ way of making garlic bread, but it tastes rather good and if you are in the mood for a quick snack it can be assembled in minutes.

Ingredients:Make Garlic Bread

  • a small roll
  • butter
  • garlic powder

Steps:

  1. Put some butter on the roll.
  2. Get your garlic powder and sprinkle some onto the buttered roll. (Not too much because it is strong! You don’t want curious neighbors!)
  3. A. Microwave for 15 seconds on HIGH. (Quick and Soft)
    OR
    B. Put it in the oven @ 375 for 5 minutes. (Crisp and warm)

There you have it! From the kitchen of Java to your computer screen, eat well and enjoy!

I’m not trying to be mean but if you can’t perform a simple task like this without a tutorial you probably shouldn’t be on the internet let alone alive.

It’s more of a recipe. Some may not know what exactly to put on or how long to cook it for… Or how to make it crispy or soft.

Looks pretty good. But how is it 3 minute garlic bread, if I’m cooking it for 5 minutes and 15 seconds?

  4. java says:

Its not 5 minutes and 15 seconds, you eather cook it in the microwave or in the oven… the name is just 3 minute garlic bread because its a quick thing to do.

I made this.. it’s tasty.. I put some shredded cheese on it too.. very yum.

  6. java says:

that sounds like a good idea Venom… its a really simple way to make something tasty =D

Yeah, make sure you use a decent type of bread for this. If you use regular white sandwich bread (which tastes fine when done with the oven) it’ll turn all soggy and gross.

  8. Jim says:

Well, I tried making this and accidentally stuck garlic salt on it instead of powder. (Stupid mistake) I felt sick for the rest of the day and it was 100% my fault.

Haha… I tried this with white bread… it got all… spoogey? Tried puttin cheese on it. Heres an equation for you
Cheese + White Bread + Butter + Garlic Powder + Microwave = Mess

Hot dog buns work really well if you use the oven approach. Just break ‘em in half and put the butter & garlic on the white sides. It comes out crispy, and goes really well with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. Great for serving with pasta!

I tried this with wheat bread and it tasted great. I added some parsley flakes on mine to give it more flavor too. I’m going to try putting shredded cheese on it next time. :-)
