Google has released its Document and Spreadsheet service for some time now, to do all my personal documents and spreadsheets. Google documents also stores everything on their own servers using the unlimited web space in your gmail account! This means you can write your documents up wherever there is a internet connection! For instance you can start writing up your report at class, go home after finish it! But wait theirs more!! You can also invite other gmail users to look at your document or even edit it! A good use of this is for school with “group projects” you can all access your group’s document whenever you need it!

How to access and share your files

  • Go into your gmail account and in the very top left there is a link that says” Docs & Spreadsheets” Just click that.
  • Open up or create the document you want to share
  • Click Collaborate its on the upper right
  • Now type the emails of who you want to invite
    • “collaborators” will be able to edit
    • “Viewers” cannot edit
